Project Brief

The design of this two-storey garment showroom embodies sophistication, warmth, and brand identity. Spread across 4000 sq. ft., the project integrates modern retail sensibilities with traditional Indian elegance—creating an immersive shopping environment that highlights bridal wear, ethnic ensembles, and contemporary fashion collections.

The layout is meticulously planned for visual flow, customer comfort, and efficient display organization, with a seamless connection between both levels through a central staircase that doubles as an aesthetic feature.

Design Highlights

• Warm Wood & Soft Lighting Palette: Use of natural wood tones, mirror accents, and layered lighting enhances the merchandise display and adds a sense of luxury.
• Feature Reception & Display Wall: The striking geometric hexagonal accent wall and sleek tiled counter form a bold welcoming statement.
• Smart Display Planning: Modular display systems, mannequin niches, and continuous wall shelving maximize both visibility and functionality.
• Customer Experience: Comfortable trial and seating zones, efficient circulation, and zoned lighting enhance user engagement.
• Material Palette: Laminated wood finishes, polished marble flooring, glass partitions, and metallic detailing.
• Lighting Design: Combination of linear recessed strips, pendant lights, and ambient track lighting for adaptive mood control.

Spatial Configuration in Plan

The spatial organization of the 4000 sq. ft. garment showroom is driven by a functional retail planning strategy — balancing display visibility, circulation comfort, and customer engagement.
The plan layout is thoughtfully designed to maintain visual connectivity and intuitive flow between sections, ensuring that each zone complements the other while maintaining its own identity.

• Entrance & Reception Lobby: Welcoming area with feature wall and display counter that visually introduces the brand aesthetic.
• Display Bays: Linear and modular display units organized along both sides for bridal and festive collections, maintaining visual hierarchy.
• Central Circulation Spine: Open, unobstructed axis allowing easy movement and direct visibility to each section.
• Consultation & Seating Area: Strategically placed to offer comfort and encourage client interaction within the display environment.
• Visual Merchandising Zone: Highlight display near the reception for premium garments or seasonal themes.
• Vertical Circulation Core: Central staircase connecting to the upper level; designed as a sculptural element integrating lighting and material continuity.

• Ethnic & Saree Section: Dedicated area for traditional collections with flexible display units and accent lighting.
• Trial Rooms: Designed for privacy and comfort with full-length mirrors and controlled lighting.
• Storage & Back-End Area: Concealed storage behind display walls for efficient inventory management.
• Casual Wear Zone: A lighter ambience with adaptable display setups for changing merchandise.
• Visual Continuity: The same material palette and lighting rhythm continue upward, reinforcing brand identity across both levels.

Every corner is designed to elevate the customer journey—from discovery to delight—through spatial fluidity, tactility, and lighting composition.
